The calculator estimate reflects real Houston rates for the scope you describe. The firm price is set by the painter after the site visit. For standard jobs the difference is minimal — but it can vary if the actual condition of the surfaces differs from what was stated.
How long until I get a firm quote?
Pro Houston Painters guarantees a response within one business day of submitting the form. The painter's site visit is usually coordinated within the following 2–3 days.
How much does Pro Houston Painters cost?
For the client, zero. Neither for getting a quote nor for the painter assignment. Pro Houston Painters charges the painter a small fee per awarded job — that does not appear in your quote.
What if I don't like the assigned painter?
Contact Pro Houston Painters. We review the situation and, if warranted, reassign the job to another painter in the network. Our goal is to make sure the work gets done right.
Do you work outside Houston?
We currently cover Houston and the metro area: Heights, Montrose, Bellaire, West University Place, Memorial, Katy, and Sugar Land. We're expanding the network — if you're outside that area, reach out and we'll see what we can do.
My home was built before 1978 — is that a problem?
Not at all, but it requires that the painter hold EPA lead-safe certification (RRP program). We only assign those projects to certified painters. We flag it explicitly in the calculator and verify before awarding the job.
